Life Map :
Job Shadow : Jennifer Pendergraft
I job shadowed Jennifer Pendergraft, who is the General Manager of the Visalia Rawhide. I shadowed this type of job because I think this best fits my personality, as well as my skill set.
Pathway : Spanish
My pathway in high school was Spanish. My freshmen year pathways were more of a newer thing and because there were only a couple of options, I never got into a serious pathway. I chose Spanish because it filled my requirement, but also because I really wanted to learn Spanish. I took Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3. While I cannot speak the language fluently, I am using a lot that I have learned from my years in Mr. Gutierrez's Spanish class. What I learned in Spanish has essentially inspired me to take the Education Tour trip to Costa Rica in June of 2016. I hope to use a little bit of what I learned in Spanish to help me communicate and learn about the country of Costa Rica. Spanish has also opened me up to the opportunity of being in National Spanish Honors Society, as well as growing my appreciation for Latin countries, cultures, and the language itself.
