Clubs & ActivitiesNational Spanish Honor SocietyNational Spanish Honor Society is a community of learners who are high achievers in their Spanish classes at LHS. We promote the Spanish language and culture, as well as participate in a variety of Community Service projects and fundraisers. We sell newspapers on Kids Day, to raise much needed money for the Valley Children's Hospital. NSHS is a fantastic society to be inducted into and I am proud of the work we do to better the community.
Class of 2016Since my sophomore year I have been involved in my class's fundraising, homecoming, and class activities. I am the Senior Class Vice-President, and I have always enjoyed my class and our class' leadership.
Future Business Leaders of America
I have been an active member of the Lindsay FBLA chapter my Sophomore and Junior years. I competed and participated at the Central Section Conference in 2014. FBLA is an association that teachers many leadership skills, as well as professionalism and enhances your business knowledge.
LHS Friends of the LibraryI was the Vice President of the LHS "Friends of the Library" club, as well as an active advocate for reading and the benefits of our library! I also have worked on renovating our Library to a more, high-tech, 21st century environment.
Scorekeeping Girls Basketball & VolleyballA big chunk of my after school time has been score keeping for Volleyball, and doing detailed stats for our LHS Girls Basketball teams. Junior Year I did scoreboard for Frosh and JV games, and advanced stats for the Varsity team. While this has been a community service job, I also have learned a lot more about statistics, a possible major. Senior year, I have score-kept for Volleyball games as well. I have accumulated over 200 hours in Community service while supporting our girl athletes!
LHS ASBThis year I have been very involved in ASB; events like Cardinal Days, Fundraising, Athletic Events, and School Spirit. I loved being a part of ASB because I love improving our school atmosphere as well as the Student Government. Our school does so many awesome things!

Tulare County Mock TrialA great experience for myself was joining the Lindsay HS Mock Trial team my Junior year. I had a great experience, I learned a lot about law, and I had a lot of fun. It opened my eyes to the reality of law and the careers that follow it. I was an Expert Witness for the Defense, and also sharpened my public speaking skills, being so under pressure at the stand!
Varsity SwimmingI have been fortunate enough to be able to compete for the LHS Swim Team all four years of High School. I also made it to the Division 2 Valley Championships every year as well. My Junior year was the most successful year as a leader as well as a swimmer. I was named team captain, MVP, and made it to Valley in a relay and individually. Swimming has given me a strong leadership role, as well as it has been an incredible four years with Coach Zike, Justin and all the really cool people I've swam with!
Team Empower- LUSDI have been a learner-leader every year of High School, a part of "Team Empower", we are the District's student leadership group, and present to District Visitors, about the Performance Based System, School Culture, Learner-Centered Environments, and our transformation to a PBS District. We have also been used in various events, we spoke at the all district staff kickoff meetings, as well as a part of committees at the District level. We also helped develop a team empower at Jefferson and Washington Schools, we mentored and taught the K-8 levels.
BasketballI played Freshman and JV basketball my first two years of High School. I had played basketball since 3rd grade and got to play two seasons at LHS.
